For math we have been learning rounding up and down to whole numbers here is what i did.
The main rules are if the number after the decimal point is 5 or more then you round it up if it is 4 or less then you round it down. If it is 0 then it stays the same.
Here are some examples.
3.4 round it down to 3
9.8 round it up to 10
5.0 stays the same.

Do you know how to round up and down to whole numbers?
Hi Archie
ReplyDeleteYour blog shows you have a good understanding of rounding to whole numbers particularly since you supported it with evidence. Can you think of any situations in your life where its useful to be able to round the numbers? I find when the price of something I buy has not been rounded I can work out for myself which coins I need to pay for the item by rounding to the nearest whole number.
